a date with fall

Anthropologie jacket [similar, but love this one and this one], tank [classic], jeans [perfect fall sateen white], bag [similar, but crushing on this] // heels [heart eyes for this pair, but similar here] // MAC lipstick in Lovelorn

For a recent date night,  I was so in the mood to dress in a more Fall look, but the temperatures hadn't quite caught up yet. Now that we've had a taste of the cooler weather, I'm definitely not quite ready for the winter to come. I have lived in the midwest long enough to know it's all downhill from here and it will be awhile before we see those sunny days reappear. The solution: I took an all white look after Labor Day, and added one lightweight layering piece with a hint of jewel tone for the perfect Fall complement. I'm not ready to bust out all my winter coats just yet!

ever after emery

Hello, friend. I'm so thrilled you've decided to join me on this journey.

I knew when I started my former blog, there was potential for it to have an expiration date, as it was generated around my maiden name. While I loved growing and developing a passion through that site, I'm looking forward to being able to share more lifestyle, home, and travel, as well as continuing a focus on fashion. My life has evolved, and it felt like it was time for my space to blossom too.

I am beyond thankful for the love and support of my husband, and would not be able to produce quality content without his commitment to encouraging me toward success. He is my absolute best friend, and sharing life with him is beyond a fairytale. We love that we will be able to share more of our journey together as we live happily Ever After Emery.
